Capital
Culinary Cooks for Children in Need
Chef Keating and his culinary team from the Capital Culinary Institute in Tallahassee marked Childhood Hunger Day by
holding a F.E.A.S.T (Feed Every American Starting Today) on the Governor’s Mansion Lawn in Tallahassee. Children from the Boys and Girls Club of Tallahassee, Big Bend, Capital City Youth Services, and the Children’s Home Society enjoyed a large buffet of kid-friendly foods and desserts. Among the sponsors was Keiser University, who donated all the paper goods and over a dozen students who volunteered at the event. Chef Keating, chapter President of the Tallahassee Area Chefs Association said, “once the community heard about the event, everything just fell into place. Everyone in the chapter pulled together to make this event a success.” Congratulations to Chef Keating and the Capital Culinary team on a very successful event!
